We have now finalised the location of our overnight stops –
2 days in the UK to start – Portsmouth and London – then fly to Berlin in Germany.
In Germany, by car we then go to Dresden, Nuremburg, Heidelburg and Freiburg.
From there it is into Switzerland to Interlaken, to Neuschwanstein castle then across to Austria and Salzburg and then back to Munich in Germany.
From Munich we’ll catch a night train into France (Paris) and collect another car and head to the Normandy area. From there we travel to Amiens – north of Paris – (where we attend the ANZAC Day service at Villers-Bretonneux) and then drop the car in Lille to go by train back to London for our last few days before heading home.
Less than 3 months to go and we are really looking forward to it. Still lots of planning to be done and fine tuning of stops in between ……….
