Departure day has arrived and we have made it to the airport – and “we have a problem” ! Not too much thankfully though. As we joined the queue to check in, an announcement came on advising that our flight to Auckland would be delayed and anyone connecting to LA would need to go to a special gate. There we were told that they were putting us on a Qantas flight to enable us to get our connecting flight in Auckland – it will be tight still but the alternative wasn’t pleasant !
It can only get better !
