GREETINGS FROM LAX ! California, (CA), USA
Well, our trip is over and we are in the lounge at the airport waiting to board our flight home.
The last couple of days at Disneyland, we pretty much just wandered between the two parks – Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. Sunday afternoon when we arrived was very busy but yesterday and today it was pretty easy getting around and on the rides.
Don’t know if Disney is showing its age – 60 years old this year – but there seemed to be a lot more rides “down” at different times this visit. Having said that, they do their best to get them going again as quick as possible. It was hot – over 40 when we arrived Sunday and mid 30’s the last couple of days. Not looking forward to Sydney’s forecast of rain and 17 !
We caught the bus from the resort this evening which was a very easy option door to door to the airport. And one last look at the freeways – which were very busy. But the bus driver used Adrienne’s tactic of “taking the long way” using roads that back track and are further in distance but get you there quicker !
So all done for another trip. 29 states and 23 national parks now ticked off our list. We had quite a diversity this trip – busy cities to wide open spaces, freezing cold to boiling hot. It’s a place of extremes in many ways and a place that just amazes us and draws us back.
Next time it’s on to the Mid West !
